Rattler Family, Magazine Schools will host the final semifinal game and the championship game of the 1A-4 Conference Baseball Tournament today (Wednesday, April 29) at the Magazine City Baseball/Softball Complex. In the final semifinal game, No. 1 seed Scranton will play No. 4 seed County Line at 3:30 p.m. That winner will play No. 3 seed Magazine in the championship game at about 5:30 p.m. or soon after the conclusion of the final semifinal game. Scranton, Magazine, Mulberry and County Line have all qualified for the Class 1A Region I Baseball Tournament on May 7-9 at Mulberry. No. 2 seed Mulberry will play No. 3 seed Magazine tomorrow (Monday, April 27) following the County Line-WYC game, approximately 5:30 p.m. or so. On Wednesday (April 29), No. 1 seed Scranton will play the County Line-WYC winner at 3:30 p.m., and the championship game will follow that game, about 5:30 p.m. or so. Hopper posted a time of 2:32.64, surpassing the previous school record of 2.33 held by Katy (Carter) Chambers and Brittney Bryan.
