Mattie Terry was 5-for-6, Chevelle Reynolds and Zoey Thurman were each 3-for-4, Ainslee Chappell was 3-for-5, Teyla Smith was 2-for-3 and Hallee Franklin was 2-for-4. Terry, who earned the win, also drove in 9 runs, followed by Reynolds (3), Chappell (2), Franklin (2), Smith (2), Gracelynn Jones (1) and April Canada (1). Rattler Family, Magazine High School’s CTE (Career and Technical Education) teachers, along with community partners, recently conducted the Ready. Set, Graduate personal finance management program from the Logan County Extension Office for MHS seniors. As part of the program, students chose a job and prepared a sample budget during the ‘A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned’ session with Logan County Extension Agent Kaitie Golden. They also had sessions provided by First Western Bank including ‘Show Me the Money’ with general banking information provided by Christin Villarreal and ‘Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees’ with credit information provided by Dustin Garrett.
