Rattler Family, Magazine Schools Beta Club will be hosting its annual Magazine Schools and Community Talent Show at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Diamondback Arena. There will be elementary school, high school and staff, alumni and community member divisions. Entry forms are available at the high school and elementary school offices or by scanning the QR code in the graphic below. Entry forms are due by Tuesday, Nov. 4. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with the elementary school division. Plaques will be awarded to the winners of each division. There is no entry fee to compete, but admission for everyone (ages 5 and under will be admitted free) including contestants will be $5. Concessions will also be available. Rattler Family, here's a reminder that Magazine Schools will recognize all of its active military members and veterans during our Military Night when our Rattler football team hosts the Mount Ida Lions at 7 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 10) at Shorty Wright Field at Diamondback Stadium. At halftime, we will recognize active service members and veterans on the field. Flyers were sent home with elementary students and are available at the high school office. The Magazine Community Trunk or Treat will be from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the high school and MOP parking lot. This free event provides candy for kids in a safe, fun environment. Also, the annual Red Ribbon Rally will follow from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Magazine Elementary School and Diamondback Stadium area. Rattler Family, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our junior high and senior high volleyball teams will host their annual Pink Out Matches to support all of those who have been affected by breast cancer this afternoon (Monday, Oct. 6), when they host Union Christian at 4 p.m. at Diamondback Arena.
