Rattler Family, here is a senior high softball schedule update. The 1A-4 Conference game between Magazine and Western Yell County scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at Western Yell County has been canceled as WYC has canceled what remains of its softball season.. The game will be counted as win by forfeit for Magazine as far as the conference standings are concerned. Magazine will now play a regular-season, nonconference game against Greenwood's junior varsity at 4:30 p.m. on Monday (April 20) beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Greenwood. Rattler Juniors and Seniors, the 2026 Magazine High School Junior and Senior Prom will be Saturday (April 18) at The Barn at Meadowbrook. The grounds will be open at 5 p.m. for pictures, and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Food will be served at 6 p.m., and festivities will begin shortly thereafter. Tickets cost $20 per person. Rattler Family, during our "Mission: Appreciation" Military Family Breakfast this morning, Magazine Schools was especially proud to recognize one of its own students who has already chosen to serve -- senior Gracelynn Jones. Jones is currently enlisted in the National Guard and is already attending weekend drill as she prepares for her future service.
