Rattler Family, during our "Mission: Appreciation" Military Family Breakfast this morning, Magazine Schools was especially proud to recognize one of its own students who has already chosen to serve -- senior Gracelynn Jones. Jones is currently enlisted in the National Guard and is already attending weekend drill as she prepares for her future service. Her commitment, courage and willingness to serve our country at such a young age is truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of her and grateful for her service. Rattler Family, it was a special morning on the Magazine Schools campus as we recognized and celebrated our active military members, their families, veterans and their supporters during our "Mission: Appreciation" Military Family Celebration. During our celebration, we took a moment to honor the life and service of longtime Magazine community member, Magazine Schools supporter and veteran Larry Lowder. A proud member of the Arkansas Army National Guard, Lowder exemplified dedication, courage, and selfless service to our country. Beyond his military commitment, he was a devoted husband of 70 years to Juanita Lowder and a loving father to our own Lisa Lowder—leaving behind a legacy rooted in family, faith and honor. His life is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made not only by those who serve, but by the families who stand beside them. We are deeply grateful for his service and the example he set for generations to follow. Students from Lisa Lowder's fifth-grade classes presented her and her mother flowers and a Legacy of Service certificate honoring Larry Lowder's service to our community, state and country. Please join us in honoring Larry Lowder's legacy by liking and sharing this post. #RattlerPride #RattlerFamily #RattlersSupportThe Military #InMemoryof MrLarryLowder
