Rattler Family, as we move into the heart of basketball season and begin conference play, it's important for all of us Rattler sports fans and student-athletes to continue practicing good sportsmanship and being good examples of "The Rattler Way". At the end of the day, it's more than just the score on the board. It's about how we show up—as fans, as players, as a community.
The Rattler Way means:
✊ Competing with heart, but respecting the opponent
👏 Cheering loud for our team without tearing others down
🤝 Win or lose, we shake hands and hold our heads high
❤️ Representing our colors with pride AND class
Our players give everything on the field. Our fans bring the energy that makes this place electric. Together, we create an atmosphere that's fierce, loyal, and unforgettable. But we do it the RIGHT way. Let's keep showing everyone what the Rattler Family is all about—passion, respect, and unity. That's how champions are built. That's how legacies are made. This is the Rattler Way. This is who we are. Show your support of "The Rattler Way" and practicing good sportsmanship by liking and sharing this post. #RattlerPride #RattlerFamily #RattlersAreGoodSports #TheRattlerWay

Rattler Family, a group of MHS juniors and seniors attended an industry tour at the Fort Smith Airport Thursday (Dec. 4). The group sat in on a presentation with the Air National Guard, TSA, the Director of Maintenance and Operations, the head of the airport commission board, the Fire Chief and assistant and the administrator of the airport. Students got to tour the airport firehouse and visit with the firemen and also got to go up in the air traffic control tower and learn how that works. They were exposed to several aviation career options. Magazine School District, RootEd and Heartland Forward along with Mrs. Loyd want to give exposure to various types of careers so that our students can have a future that they can enjoy, be financially stable and be proud!
