Rattler Family, our junior high and senior high cross country runners endured the oppressive afternoon heat on Tuesday and posted some great finishes in the ultra-competitive Tom Stuthard Invitational hosted by Acorn High School. Senior Serenity Mora finished fifth overall, while senior Cecilia Mora finished 22nd in the senior girls race, while junior Connor Hopper finished 12th in senior boys race. Rebekah Merritt finished 13th in the junior high girls race, while Alaric McCormick and Chris Stafford finished 70th and 85th in the junior high boys race, unofficially. Rattler Family, it was a hot afternoon for running yesterday afternoon, but three of our senior high girls and boys cross country runners posted Top 10 finishes in our own Rattler Run, that featured a total of 19 area schools. Senior Serenity Mora won the senior girls race, while senior Cecilia Mora finished sixth. Junior Connor Hopper finished ninth in the senior boys race.
