Rattler Family, a Magazine community outreach group will host a Back to School Clothes Closet for those needing assistance getting school clothes for their children in Pre-K through 12th grades. The group will accept new or gently worn clothing donations at the Gloria Perry Community Center on July 31-Aug. 1 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Families needing assistance will be able to shop/pick up clothing (two suits of clothes per student as long as supplies last) on Aug. 2 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Gloria Perry Community Center with the three-day use of the building being donated by the City of Magazine. Monetary donations will also be accepted to go towards the purchase of undergarments and socks. Any clothing items that are not distributed will be used to stock the Magazine Schools clothes closet or donated to BHDC, the Maggie House or area children's shelters in need.
