ATTENTION: Rattler Family, with the weather forecast changing by the hour it seems, we have another change in regards to tomorrow night's (Monday, Jan. 30) senior high girls and boys basketball games at Mansfield. The start time for the first game (senior girls) has been moved up to 5 p.m. Earlier today, we announced that the senior high games had been moved from Tuesday (Jan. 31) to tomorrow (Monday, Jan. 30) at Mansfield, and the seventh-grade girls and boys and junior high girls and boys games had been moved from Monday to Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Magazine. Rattler Family, the Magazine High School senior class is sponsoring a Homecoming Dance from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Diamondback Arena. Admission is $5 per person, and anyone who is over 20 years old or does not attend Magazine Schools must sign up in the high school office by Wednesday, Feb. 8. Rattler Family, wintry weather is expected in the River Valley on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning with possible snow arriving Tuesday evening. Parents, please be prepared for a POSSIBLE early release on Tuesday. We will continue to monitor the weather and make a decision as soon as possible. Rattler Family, we recognize and reward good behavior and actions by our students here at Magazine High School. Beginning this semester, teachers can nominate a student who exhibits good behavior and/or actions that help others to receive "Rattler Bucks", which can be used toward the purchase of items like vouchers to the concession stand among other things. This program is funded by the Resilient Schools Collaborative/PBIS grant that the school received. Five students were recognized this week and received "Rattler Bucks" for vouchers to the concession stand: Zach Bull, Ryan Yarborough, Gunner Franklin, Austin Scott and Christian Carey.
