Rattler Family, each year, the Magazine Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has shown improvement from the ninth-12th grades and plans to attend an institution of higher education, which can be any type of college, vocational/trade school or cosmetology school. Rattler Family, Josie Oliver want 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and drove in one run as the No. 3 seed Lady Rattlers beat the No. 1 seed Cotter Lady Warriors 7-5 this afternoon in the third-place game of the 2A-West Region Tournament at Lavaca. Oliver was one of five Lady Rattlers with multiple hits. Zoey Thurman, Mattie Terry, Destiny Corley and Hallee Franklin had 2 hits apiece, and Thurman, Ainslee Chappell, Destiny Corley, Joslyn Corley had 1 RBI apiece. Terry earned the win, allowing 5 runs (all earned) on 13 hits with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts over 7 innings.
