
A Recruiting Event for the U.S. Census Bureau is being held at the Magazine High School Library at 292 E Priddy St in Magazine, AR on October 21 from 3:30 - 6 pm. A representative will be there to assist and to answer questions. These are great temporary summer jobs. Nationwide, thousands will be hired to support their communities and get paid while doing it. 2nd grade's community service project, "Thank a Police Officer Breakfast" was awesome! All of the kids enjoyed getting to eat and visit with the officers. Thank you for all of the hard work you do to keep us safe.

After reading a story about a farmer's market, students made their own paper fruit or vegetable, wrote a sentence about it and determined the cost they would sell it for. Then as a class we learned how to shop and make choices.





Pre-K Openings


Elementary students had fun being greeted by the high school band at morning car and bus drop off this week. The music was outstanding!

Retired UAFS professor, Dr. Sarah Davis, visited 4th grade. She read to the class and shared a lesson about Cause and Effect. She helped the students to identify the causes of Alexander's Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and then had students identify the causes and effects of water waves based on observations.



The High School Math Club helps fourth graders solve math word problems during advisory time.
