The Magazine Conservation Academy students at Drake Airfield in Fayetteville. They discussed aviation history and careers in the field.



4th, 5th, and 6th graders competed in a typing contest back in January, where they competed to see who could type the most words per minute. The winners received a certificate and a small prize.

Last week the first grade studied and read a story about honeybees. On Wednesday, Mrs. Smith shared all about honeybees and showed the students the tools she uses when working with bees. The students also got to taste a honey sample.

Students in Mrs. Powell’s 6th grade social studies classes solved the case by using an Ancient Greece article. They used context clues, correcting false statements, finding main idea, and showing evidence.
