Rattler Family, we are extremely proud of the latest edition to our library reading selections -- "Nowhere Better Than Here" by Sarah Guillory. This book was donated by the author's parents, Jim and Jamey Garner of Booneville, in memory of Coach Robert Dean, our volleyball coach who recently passed away. This is the latest book by Guillory, who teaches high school English and lives in Louisiana with her husband. This middle-grade-level book is written from the perspective of a 13-year-old girl and features lots of great lessons. Mrs. Garner presented the book to high school librarian Cheryl Davis and senior volleyball player Haylee Francis on Tuesday afternoon. We wish to thank the Garners for their gift and for helping us keep Coach Dean's memory alive.
