The Magazine Conservation Academy students at the Mt. Magazine lodge. They were able to tour the lodge and meet different people to learn about each person's job.

You may have heard your kid say something about an art party this week. Classes earn art parties based on behavior. It’s an art class spent letting kids be in complete control of their art work. They get to use all the skills they’ve learned to create freely, and not to mention have loads of fun!

The Magazine Conservation Academy students at Toltec Mounds Archaeological Park. They learned about the people that inhabited the area and built the mounds. There were 18 original mounds, but only 3 remain due to destruction from settler farming. They also learned how they used weapons, such as the atlatl spear and blow gun, to hunt.

November’s Featured Artist!



Fourth grade will present our program honoring the veterans tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 8th. We will begin at 2:00 in the Magazine Elementary Cafeteria. Thank you to Mrs. Hopper and Mrs. Cooley for the decorations and to Mrs Smith for the programs. Thank you to Mrs. Nietert and Mrs. Chappell for helping prepare the students!
