Jailynn sets school record

Our athletes amaze me.  Last night was our annual Rattler Relays and what a meet.  The weather was 77 degrees and full of sunshine.   Great performances in so many events.  Ashton started it off with an incredible 20'9" long jump win.  With that leap he moved ahead of Cory Chambers, Billy Wallace, Taylor Haller, Vincent Randhofer, and Ethan Williams into #7 on our all-time list.  Our sprinters finished off our great day. In between, Jailynn won discus and shot put.  Jailynn has now put herself at the top of the school's discus leaderboard passing greats Courtney Bryan,  Pickartz, Cari Bryan, Heather Bryan, and Lorraine Dority.  Elizabeth (5:48) again broke the school record in the mile leading an incredible group as Phoebe ran 6:16 for 2nd, Carissa 3rd, Cecilia 4th, and Serenity 6th.  Elizabeth has eased in front of former greats:  Logan Lyle, Katy Carter, Kaitlynn Ryan, and Shelby Gordon.   Daniel Green 3rd in boys. Reese 18'11" finished 2nd in long jump.   Cecilia,  Carissa,  Ainslee,  Raylee finished 1-2-3-4 in long jump.  Ben won triple jump.  Carissa and Cecilia finished silver and bronze in triple jump.  Keaton led a 1-2-3-4 finish in shot put with Cha Kong, Bryson, and Zayne.   Zoey, Serenity,  and Josie finished 3rd, 6th, 7th in shot.  Yeej Keej won pole vault followed by Dakotah 3rd and Daniel 5th.  Haylee finished 7th.  Cecilia won high jump. Cha Kong won discus followed by Zayne,  Keaton,  and Bryson in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th.  Jackson and Jacob finished 3rd and 5th in discus.   Elizabeth,  Josie,  and Serenity went 2-4-5 in discus.   There are more results but these were the highlights.

Coach Chambers, Katy, Hannah, Courtney, and Dana ran this off so smoothly.  Y'all are the best!  Our next meet will be after spring break at the Mansfield Tiger Relays.
