Rattler Family, Mrs. Suttles' third grade students took advantage of the nice weather on Thursday to practice our multiplication skills as part of their math lesson. Rattler Family, senior multi-sport student-athlete Jailynn Sims has verbally committed to play basketball next season at Oklahoma Wildcats Academy, a private post-graduate school and trade school based in Oklahoma City that emphasizes entrepreneurship.
As a student-athlete at OWA Wildcats Academy, women's basketball players will play a 20-plus game schedule against other colleges and receive elite sport training. Playing for OWA does not affect NCAA eligibility, and the student-athlete will still have four years of eligibility after leaving the program.

Rattler Junior High and High School Parents and Students, Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Monday (May 5) th at 4 p.m. in the safe room on the Elementary Campus. For tryouts, your child will need a plain red shirt, black shorts and tennis shoes. They will wear their hair up in a ponytail, out of their face. Students should come to the safe room immediately after school to get ready for tryouts. Please note that tryout practices are mandatory Wednesday (April 30) from 3:30-5 p.m. and Thursday and Friday (May 1-2) from 3:30-5:30 p.m.. Failure to attend practices can result in being cut from the squad. On Saturday, May 3, there will be an optional practice from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. during which time there will be a mock tryout and help for athletes who want extra practice time.
