Sports enthusiasts and parents, here's an important rule reminder from the Arkansas Activities Association. The Arkansas Activities Association has laid down some strict rules regarding recruiting, and we need to pay close attention, especially to Item #4 (see graphic).
🚫 Recruiting Prohibition - The following individuals shall be considered school-connected … #4: The parents, guardians or other relatives of a student-athlete or other student participant in the athletic program at that school. 🚫
Did you know that as a parent, guardian, or relative of a student-athlete, you're considered "school-connected"? This means you have a responsibility to uphold fair play and sportsmanship. But here's the kicker: You are PROHIBITED from contacting a student-athlete at another school with the intent to recruit them!
❌ No texting.
❌ No calling.
❌ No conversations.
❌ No other sneaky means.
Recruiting through parents, guardians, or relatives is a big NO-NO according to the Arkansas Activities Association. We're talking about maintaining integrity and fairness in sports, folks!
So, let's play by the rules and keep it clean. Let the talent speak for itself, and remember, true champions don't need shortcuts! 🏆 #PlayFair #NoRecruiting #ArkansasAthletics 🏀🏈⚽ Help us spread the word by liking and sharing this post. #RattlerPride #RattlerFamily #RattlersAlwaysFollowTheRules

Rattler Family, this week is Future Farmers of America Week (FFA), and our Magazine High School FFA Chapter has a long, rich tradition. FFA was founded in 1928, and in the fall of that year, Magazine High School’s FFA Chapter (Chapter No. 68) was formed with Lloyd Elliott as its organizer and sponsor. According to information in the 1932 Magazine Schools Yearbook – then called “The Invincible”-- “... Delegates were sent to the state convention and judging teams represented the chapter at the state fair judging contests that year. Since its organization, the chapter has participated in all activities sponsored by the State Association. Definite annual programs have been formulated and carried out. Group projects have been conducted to raise finances. The chapter maintains a thrift club to encourage savings among its members. A father and son banquet is an annual affair. Cooperative buying and selling have been done by members and farmers of the community. Members of this chapter have held state offices the past two years and have attended the national convention in Kansas City on prize money won in contests. The chapter has many Arkansas Farmers and Arkansas Planters. The latest activity of the chapter is a “Live at Home” pig club to supply good breeding stock to members. In this project, the chapter has the cooperation of the Anderson Clayton Cotton Company.” Below are pictures of the Magazine FFA members for the 1931-32 school year from the 1932 “The Incidence”, the oldest yearbook in the school’s current archives. If you knew any of these members or were related to any of these members, share your memories in the comments section.
