If you haven't already received your Summer EBT benefits, eligible families can still sign up to receive $120 per school-aged child until Aug. 25. Rattler Family, 📱🚫 the Arkansas Bell to Bell, No Cell Act (Act 122 of 2025) will go into effect this school year at all Arkansas schools, including Magazine Schools. The law prohibits personal electronic devices, including cell phones and smart watches, bell-to-bell . 🔔 What this means is students cannot possess cell phones or other personal electronic devices during the instructional day, starting the moment they arrive on campus until the final dismissal bell rings. This includes lunch, recess and class transitions. This policy begins the first day of school for Magazine students, which is Wednesday, Aug. 13. Please review the information about this new state law listed in the graphic below and spend time discussing this policy with your student(s) prior to the start of school. Rattler Family, Magazine's junior high and senior high cheerleaders recently attended cheer camp at Summit Elite Gym in Russellville. Many of you will begin to start your back-to-school shopping for clothing and supplies in the coming weeks. Here is a reminder that Paris Christian Center will host a free backpack and school supply giveaway for area students in kindergarten-12th grades from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at its Manna Center located at 310 South 2nd Street in Paris.
