Rattler Family, Danielle Kimes is the winner of our first Staff Hydration Challenge! Thirty-six staff members committed to drinking 64 ounces of water per day for the 25 days leading up to our Blue and You Challenge, which lasts until May and encourages water drinking, daily exercise and healthy lifestyle choices. We had 15 staff members that completed 23 out of 25 days. Danielle was our lucky winner! Rattler Family, Dr. Curtis Varnell and Amber Cobb from the Guy Fenter Education Service Cooperative visited Magazine Elementary and did a fun presentation to both first-grade classes about reading and science on Tuesday (March 7). Students enjoyed listening and participating by reading the ABC storybook by Dr. Seuss with Amber Cobb. Then, they learned all about sound waves with Curtis Varnell.
