Grand Opening Day will be lunch time on Friday, Sept. 9, at both the elementary and high school cafeterias. The menu will be your choice of orange chicken and fried rice or pepperoni pizza and broccoli, fresh salad bar, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit and milk. Rattler Family, Magazine Elementary School will celebrate Grandparents Day with a week-long celebration from Sept. 12-16. Grandparents of elementary students are encouraged to have breakfast and/or lunch with their grandchildren during the week. Cost is $2.25 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch. Also, grandparents are encouraged to come and read to their grandchildren's class during the week, too. Registration forms will be sent home with students today (Thursday, Sept. 1).
