Rattler Family, here's a reminder that this evening (Saturday, Dec. 10), Magazine Schools and the City of Magazine will partner to present "A Night With Santa Claus". Holiday fun and festivities will begin with the annual City Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. in downtown and will be followed by several activities at Magazine First Baptist Church, like photo opportunities with Santa Claus and free hot cocoa provided by the city, community literacy activities provided by Magazine Schools and its Beta Club and a chili cookoff and benefit supper. While the current forecast now calls for rain, the parade will continue as scheduled provided there are no thunderstorms. Make plans to make an evening of it. Meal consists of a baked potato, salad, dessert and, if dining in, water or tea. Meal options include dine-in, take-out or pre-arranged delivery.
