Rattler Family, the Polar Plunge for Arkansas Special Olympics fundraising campaign for Magazine High School principal Matt Binford and Elementary Principal Jared Higginbotham is heating up! The principal that raises the LEAST amount of money will have to participate in the Polar Plunge at Cove Lake on Feb. 18, but if both campuses each raise $500 for their principal, then BOTH principals will take the Polar Plunge. An anonymous donation of $25 was made to Binford's "W.I.T.: Whatever It Takes" campaign, and today (Wednesday, Jan. 11), a few high school students contributed $35 in person toward Higginbotham's "Plunging for Peyton" campaign, saying, "We wanna see our principal, Mr. Binford, take the Polar Plunge". Online donations for Higginbotham can be made at: https://www.flipcause.com/secure/fundraiser/MTU3MzQ2/80726 or by scanning his QR code in the graphic below, while online donations may be made online for Binford at: https://www.flipcause.com/secure/fundraiser/MTU3MzQ2/80807 or by scanning his QR code below. Rattler Family, our fourth-grade students made a Random Acts of Kindness Challenge to all elementary students. Each link in the chain has a sentence describing the act of kindness they did. The sentences need seven words to encourage our students to write good sentences. The paper chain started at Ms. Kellogg's door and has already went down the hall and around the corner. So far, there are 273 links in the chain. An act of kindness, no matter how small, makes a difference!
