Our celebration will include patriotic musical performances by our third- and fourth-grade classes under the direction of MES music teacher Clayton Hughes. Rattler Family, our elementary and high school students had the opportunity to be a part of an inspiring social and educational program today as the legendary Coach Verdu with Way Beyond Measure presented his anti-bullying and character development program -- T.H.I.N.K -- as part of our continued Red Ribbon Week celebration. Coach Verdu's message encourages students to ask themselves five questions: T - Is it TRUE? H - Is it HELPFUL? I - Is it INSPIRING? N - Is it NECESSARY? and K -- Is it KIND? Parents will have the opportunity to listen to Coach Verdu tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 25) during the Red Ribbon Rally in the safe room on the Magazine Elementary campus.
