We have had some questions about election results for the school millage and wanted to clarify. Article 14 section 3 of the Arkansas constitution requires all school districts to vote on their millage rate every year no matter if there is an increase or not. The district did not ask voters for an increase we merely met the letter of the law. If the election passes the millage stays the same. If it fails it reverts back to last years millage which is the exact same as the one on the ballot. As always, if you have any questions or would like further clarification please reach out.
